Day 01  Home City – Singapore
Fly to Singapore. Lose one day crossing the International Dateline.

Day 02 En-route to Singapore

Day 03 Arrive Singapore
Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the Orchard Hotel * 4-star for your 3-night stay.

Day 04  Singapore (B)
Enjoy the morning at your leisure. In the afternoon, take a drive around the Civic District past the Padang, Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Stop at Merlion Park for a great view of Marina Bay. Get the chance to take photos with the mythological Merlion that is part lion and part fish. Next, visit Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples before driving past Chinatown to watch craftsmen at work at a local Handicraft Centre. Proceed to the National Orchid Garden, located within Singapore Botanical Gardens, which boast a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants. Our final stop at Little India will entrance you with the scent of joss sticks, jasmine and spices.

Day 05 Singapore (B)
Enjoy the day at your leisure.

Day 06 Singapore –  Saigon (B/D)
Today, fly to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.  Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the Grand Hotel Saigon * 3-star for 3 nights.  The rest of the day is at your leisure.  This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the Lemon Grass Restaurant.

Day 07 Saigon (B/L/D)
This morning, take a drive to the extraordinary Cu Chi Tunnels, just outside of Saigon and explore the network of tunnels built by the Vietcong guerrillas during the Vietnam War.  In the afternoon, visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Chinatown, Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Temple. 

Day 08 Saigon  (B/L)
Depart Saigon for a scenic morning drive around Vinh Long, stopping at the famous Cai Be Floating Market. 

Day 09 Saigon – Danang – Hoi An  (B/L/D)
This morning fly to Danang.  In Danang, visit the open-air Cham Museum housing the world’s finest collection of Cham Art.  Next, take a short drive to the riverside town of Hoi An.  En-route, visit the Marble Mountains and see the world-famous China Beach.   Tonight, check-in at the Hoi An Hotel * 3-star for your 2-night stay.

Day 10 Hoi An (B/L)
Start the day with a walking tour of Hoi An, an ancient trading port.  Visit a traditional Chinese Communal House, a Hokkien Temple, ancient merchants’ houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful local market.  You will also visit a workshop where artisans make Hoi An’s famous lanterns.  Finish the day with a sunset boat cruise on the Thu Bon River to the Thanh Ha pottery village.

Day 11 Hoi An – Hue (B/L/D)
Depart Hoi An for the ancient capital of Hue.  The three-hour coastal drive cuts through emerald-green paddy fields and over the spectacular Hai Van mountain pass.  Upon arrival in Hue, check-in at the Saigon Morin Hotel * 4-star for 1 night.

Day 12 Hue – Hanoi (B/L/D)
Enjoy a morning boat cruise through the center of Hue on the romantic Perfume River.  Visit the seven-story Thien Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang along the riverbank.  In the afternoon, board a flight to Hanoi.  Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the Green Park Hotel * 3-star for your 3-night stay.  This evening, enjoy a water puppet show – a remarkable Vietnamese art form that combines traditional music, fireworks, underwater puppeteers and elaborate puppets floating gracefully over water.

Day 13 Hanoi (B/L)
Spend a full day exploring the architecture and history of Hanoi.  In the morning, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s former residence.  Note: Closed on Mondays & Fridays.  Next, visit the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature.  In the afternoon, visit the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, the Lake of Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple.  A one-hour cycle tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter is a relaxing way to end the day.  The tour includes a stop at an ancient Vietnamese long house.

Day 14 Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
This morning, drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong.  In the afternoon, enjoy a private boat cruise and succulent seafood lunch on magnificent Halong Bay.

Day 15 Hanoi – Singapore (B)
Enjoy the morning at your leisure.  In the afternoon, fly to Singapore, where you will stay at the Bayview Hotel for 1 night.  The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 16 Singapore – Home (B)
Head to the airport for your return flight home.  Bon Voyage!
