Day 1
Toronto – Amman

Fly to Amman, Jordan via Abu Dhabi. 

Day 2
Arrive Amman (D)

Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the Radisson SAS Hotel *5-star.  Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. 

Day 3
Amman – Petra (B/L/D)

This morning, drive to Petra. En-route visit the old mosaic city of Madaba and Mt Nebo.  Continue along Wadi Al Mujeb Valley and see Kerak, the old crusader fortress.  Tonight, stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel *5-star.

Day 4  
Petra – Dead Sea (B/L/D)

Today, explore Petra, one of the newly named Seven Wonders of the World. Marvel at the hundreds of buildings, tombs, temples and arched gateways that date back more than 2,000 years. In the late afternoon, depart for the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, 480 meters below sea level.  As its name evokes, the Dead Sea is devoid of life due to its extremely high salt content and minerals, which gives its waters therapeutic qualities, and its buoyancy. Tonight, stay at the Movenpick Resort *5-star, with one of the largest advanced spa operations in the Middle East.

Day 5  
Dead Sea – Amman (B/L/D)

Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore the Dead Sea and spa facilities on your own.  After lunch, return to Amman, where you will stay at the Radisson SAS Hotel *5-star.  In Amman, visit the Roman Amphitheater that once seated 6,000 spectators and dates back to the 1st Century B.C. Also tour the Citadel, towering above the city. There, excavations have uncovered Roman, Byzantine and early Islamic remains. This is followed by a tour of the Byzantine Basilica marked by Corinthian columns dating back to 6th Century B.C. 

Day 6  
Amman – Abu Dhabi - Dubai (B/D)

Enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, fly to Abu Dhabi.  Upon arrival, travel to dazzling Dubai, where you will stay at the Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City Hotel * 5-star. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7  
Dubai (B/L/D)

Today, get to know both modern and ancient Dubai.  Star at the magnificent Jumeirah mosque, one of the largest sacred structures in Dubai. Travel along Dubai Creek and arrive in the oldest part of the city, the Bastakia Quarter, home to the wealthy Persian pearl and textile merchants of the early 20th Century. This is followed by a visit to Al Fahidi Fort, which is now the Dubai Museum. Continue the journey by an “Abra” (local water taxi) on the bustling alleys before visiting the Gold and Spice Souks (markets).  At the magnificent gold souk, you’ll find over 200 gold shops display dazzling jewelry varying from traditional to the latest designs at amazingly affordable prices. 

Day 8  
Dubai – Sharjah - Dubai (B/L/D)

This morning, depart for Sharjah, the U.A.E.’s 3rd largest emirate (approx 30 min from Dubai). See the HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi’s Palace.  Along the Corniche, see the dhow boats lining the Creek and Al Majarra Souk with its golden dome.  Next, pass by the bustling cattle, vegetable and fish markets. Later, visit the famous Central Market, also known as the Blue Souk where you will find all kinds of gifts, electronics, gold and gems. Across from the Blue Souk stands the majestic King Faisal Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the U.A.E  Return to Dubai in the afternoon and enjoy t he rest of the day at leisure. 

Day 9  
Dubai (B/D)

Enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, depart for an exciting Desert Safari in the heart of Arabia. Ride in 4x4 vehicles for some thrilling dune bashing on the golden-hued sand dunes that rise up to 200 meters. This is followed by a BBQ dinner at a Bedouin Camp that features a memorable Belly Dance performance.

Day 10
Dubai – Abu Dhabi – Toronto (B/L)

Enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, travel to Abu Dhabi. See the striking modern architecture and fascinating interpretations of Islamic themes. Learn everything about oil - the “black gold” – and how it has transformed Abu Dhabi one of the world’s wealthiest cities. Visit Al Husn Palace, the city’s first fort and presently home to the Cultural Foundation. Later drive along the beautiful Corniche for a magnificent view of the city. Enjoy the morning at leisure.  Tonight, head to the airport for your late night flight home.  Bon Voyage!
