Day 1:
Fly from your home city to Beijing.

Day 2: Beijing
Upon arrival, your local guide will escort you to the deluxe China World Hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure to explore exciting Beijing.

Day 3: Beijing
Start the day visiting Tian An Men Square, and the Forbidden City and its gardens. After lunch, take a pedicab through the 700-year-old streets and visit a Hutong (historic home). Afterwards, visit the splendid Temple of Heaven, where emperors from the Qing Dynasty went to pray. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular ‘Legend of Kung Fu’ show. *B*L*D

Day 4: Beijing – Great Wall
This morning, visit the Ming Tombs, the beautifully decorated burial place of the Ming Dynasty emperors. After lunch, travel to the Great Wall, the 2,000-year-old wonder that stretches over 6,000 km. This afternoon, stop by a Jade factory and see top local crafts people at work. This is followed by a sightseeing tour of the Olympic site where you will see the National Aquatic Centre (the Water Cube) and the National Stadium (the Bird's Nest). Tonight, enjoy a delectable Peking Duck dinner. *B*L*SD

Day 5: Beijing – Nanjing
This morning, visit the exquisite Summer Palace, a former retreat for the Imperial family. After lunch, fly to Nanjing, the ancient capital of China where you will stay at the
Ramada Plaza. *B*L*D

Day 6: Nanjing
Start the day visiting the historic Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum and the Lingu Temple. After lunch, drive along the Yangtze River Bridge and appreciate why Nanjing is revered by the Chinese people. After, enjoy a visit to the legendary Confucius Temple.

Day 7: Nanjing – Wuxi
Depart Nanjing by train for Wuxi, a delightful water town where you will stay at the
Hubin Hotel. Visits to Li Yuan Garden, the Jichang Garden, the fascinating Huishan Clay Sculpture Factory and a boat ride on Lake Taihu highlight the day. *B*L*D

Day 8: Wuxi – Suzhou
Depart Wuxi by train for charming Suzhou, known as the “Venice of the East.” Visit the town’s classical gardens maintained by Chinese nobility for centuries. Then visit the Garden of the Master of Nets (Wangshi Garden) and the Embroidery Research Institute, where wonderful silk paintings are made. Tonight, stay at the

Day 9: Suzhou – Shanghai
This morning, visit Tiger Hill Park and enjoy a boat ride on the Grand Canal. After lunch, you will take a train ride to Shanghai where you will stay at the
New World Mayfair Hotel. *B*L

Day 10: Shanghai
Today’s sightseeing begins with the Shanghai Museum, and a visit to the Bund, known as the "Wall Street” of Asia. Visit the majestic Garden of Mandarin Yu Yuan, built in 1577. Next, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and the Municipal Children’s Palace. This evening, experience an amazing Chinese acrobatic show. *B*L*D

Day 11: Shanghai – Home
This morning, head to the airport for your flight home. *B
