Days 2:
Enroute to Hanoi

Day 3: Arrive in Hanoi
Upon arrival in Noi Bai International airport, you will be met and transferred to the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi for one night. After check-in, start exploring this cultural city with a visit to One Pillar Pagoda , a wooden structure built in 1049 that sits on stilts over a lake; the Museum of Fine Arts, a magnificent building featuring all aspects of Vietnam's contemporary fine arts; Temple of Literature, founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong who dedicated it to Confucius in order to honor scholars and men of literary accomplishment; the Lake of the Resorted Sword and the Old Quarter of “36 streets and 36 wares”. T onight, enjoy a Water Puppet show, a fantastic art form originating in northern Vietnam followed by dinner at a local restaurant. *D

Day 4: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Halong
After breakfast, drive 160 km to Halong City. Enroute, stop at Hai Pong colonial port to visit the Hang Kenh Temple and the Du Hang Pagoda, one of the most ancient pagodas in this city built three centuries ago. The decoration on the pagoda is exquisite as well as houses many ancient furnishings. Continue to Halong where you will stay overnight at
Halong Plaza Hotel. *B*D

Day 5: Halong – Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning boat cruise through the spectacular Halong Bay with stops at its stunning caves and grottoes. Enjoy a seafood lunch onboard. After disembarking the boat, travel back to Hanoi. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang, drive through the Marble Mountains to Hoi An. Check-in at Life Heritage Resort for two nights. *B*L*D

Day 6:
Hanoi
Enjoy a walking tour on Hoi An’s narrow cobblestone streets and visit the Phuc Kien Pagoda, the 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the colourful bazaar, and the local market. Cruise on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island, a village of woodworkers and boat building families.

Day 7:
Hoi An – Hue
This morning, drive to Hue, the capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945). En route, you will pass through Danang before climbing over the Mountain Clouds Hai Van. Pass and the beautiful fishing village of Lang Co. In Danang, visit the Cham Museum , which houses the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. The museum, which is a replica of Cham architecture, displays about 300 original sandstone and terra cotta artefacts, dating back to between the fifth and the sixteenth century. Upon arrival in Hue, check in at the Saigon Morin Hotel for two nights.

Day 8: Hue
This morning, travel upstream via a Dragon boat towards the Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s most preserved religious monument standing on the riverbank with its seven-floored tower. Also visit the Imperial Citadel. During the afternoon, visit the elaborate Royal tombs of Emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Rest of the day is at leisure. *B*D

Day 9: Hue – Ho Chi Minh City
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon you will be met and transferred to the Caravelle Hotel for one night. Spend the afternoon visiting historic landmarks, such as the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho
Take a morning drive from Saigon to Can Tho. Can Tho is at the centre of Mekong Delta, amongst a network of rivers, brooks, canals and ditches. The province is about 170 km from Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival, check-in at the Victoria Can Tho Resort for one night. *B*L*D

Day 11: Can Tho – Chau Doc
This morning, take a boat ride to the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest and most bustling of the Mekong Delta markets. Fruit and vegetable vendors assemble from all over, hanging samples of their wares on long poles above. Later on, travel to Chau Doc, a town in the Mekong Delta region bordered by Cambodia. Day 12: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh
After breakfast at the hotel, board the Victoria Speedboat to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, embark on a city tour with a visit to the National Museum, which houses Khmer art; the Royal Palace built in 1866 by King Norodom; the Silver Pagoda whose floor is made up of 5,000 silver tiles then ending at a visit to either the Central or Russian Market. Overnight at the

Day 13:
Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, check in at the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa for two nights. After check in at the hotel, start your tour with a short drive to Rolous to see the ruins of the Rolous Group. The ruins are among the oldest Khmer monuments in the Angkor area, dating to the 9 th century. Two key temple sites remain, Preah Ko and Bakong. Later on in the afternoon, visit the Khmer ruins of Angkor Wat, one of the world’s most impressive historic sites. The magnificent temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu by King Suryavarman II. It was constructed over a period of 30 years and features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. In 1992 the UNESCO declared the monument and the whole city of Angkor a World Heritage Site. *B*D


Day 14:
Siem Reap
After breakfast, continue your exploration with a visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Baphou, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace and the Royal Place area. Also visit the picturesque Ta Prohm ruin that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown. Other visits include Ta Keo, Chay Say Tevoda, Thammanon, Bantey Kdei and Srah Srang. These exquisite temples depict Khmer history and myths. Later in the day, visit a temple to view the magnificent sunset. *B*D

Day 15:
Siem Reap – Bangkok
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival in Bangkok, transfer to the Novotel Suvarnnabhumi Airport Hotel via hotel shuttle bus. Rest of the day is at leisure on your own. *B

Day 16: Bangkok – Home City
Transfer to the airport via hotel shuttle bus for your return flight home. *B
