Day 1:

Fly from home city to Beijing.
Lose one day as you cross the International Dateline.

Day 2: Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the
Intercontinental Financial Street Hotel.

Day 3: Beijing
Start the day visiting historic Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City and its gardens. This afternoon, hop on a pedicab and ride through the 700-year-old winding streets to tour a Hutong (historic home). *B*L*D

Day 4: Beijing
This morning, visit the Ming Tombs, the ancient burial place of the Ming Dynasty emperors. After lunch visit the Great Wall, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. Tonight, enjoy a delectable Peking Duck Dinner. *B*L*SD

Day 5:
Beijing
This morning, drive by the Olympic site and see the National Aquatic Center (the Water Cube) and the National Stadium (the Bird's Nest). Next, explore the exquisite Summer Palace. You will also visit the splendid Temple of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Bountiful Harvests. *B*L*D

Day 6: Beijing – Xian
This morning, board a flight to ancient Xian, home of the Terra Cotta Warriors. Upon arrival, you will check in to the
Shangri-La Hotel Golden Flower. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous Dumpling Banquet. *B*L*SD

Day 7: Xian
Today, marvel at Xian’s ancient monuments, including the Grand Mausoleum of Qin Emperor Shi Huang Di, the first emperor of China, which is protected by 6,000 life size Terra Cotta Warriors and horses. *B*L*SD

Day 8: Xian – Guilin
Start the day with a visit to the famous Shaanxi Provincial Museum. After lunch, board a flight to Guilin where you will stay at the
Lijiang Waterfall Hotel. *B*L*D

Day 9: Guilin – Yangshuo
Start the day with a scenic boat trip down the Li River. Tonight, stay at the
New West Street Hotel. *B*L*D

Day 10: Guilin – Chongqing
Complete your amazing journey to this part of China by visiting Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Hill. This afternoon, fly to Chongqing where you will stay at
JW Marriott Hotel. *B*L*D

Day 11: Chongqing – Board Cruise Ship
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing. Highlights include the Museum of The Three Gorges and adorable Pandas at the zoo. Afterwards, you will board the
Orient Royal Cruise’s East King for your Yangtze River cruise.

Day 12: Cruise – Shibaozhai
Your Yangtze River cruise begins with an introduction to the river’s great natural beauty and historical ties. On-board activities include Tai-Chi classes, cooking classes and Chinese calligraphy lecture.

Day 13:
Cruise – Three Gorges – Badong
Today, your cruise will sail past the legendary Three Gorges. At over 8 km long, the Qutang Gorge is the most spectacular of the Three Gorges, with cliffs rising over 1,000 meters. Next, you will sail past the Wu Gorge and its 12 towering peaks before entering Xiling Gorge, the longest and most exciting of the three. In Badong, you will disembark for the Shennon Stream Drifting excursion.

Day 14: Cruise – Yichang – Shanghai
This morning you will arrive at the cruise’s final port of call in Yichang where you will board a flight to Shanghai. Tonight, stay at the
New World Mayfair Hotel. *B*L*D

Day 15:
Shanghai
Start the day touring the dynamic Shanghai Museum. Visit the Garden of Mandarin Yu Yuan, built in 1577 before moving onto the Jade Buddha Temple, the Municipal Children’s Palace and the Bund. Tonight, watch an amazing Chinese acrobatic show. *B*L*D

Day 16:
Shanghai – Home
Today, head to the airport for your return flight home. *B
