Day 1: Arrive Yangon
Upon arrival you will be met and escorted to the Traders Hotel 4.5 star. Explore city at your leisure.
Day 2: Yangon (B/L)
Tour through Yangon’s colonial-style city center. Visit the Sule Pagoda, Mailamu Pagoda and Karaweik Hall. Explore the Bogyoke (Scotts) Market and the Shwedagon Pagoda for a spectacular view of the sunset.
Day 3: Yangon - Bagan (B/L)
After breakfast fly to Bagan. Check-in to The Hotel at Tharabar Gate 4-star. Tour the colorful local market and visit the pagodas and temples of Bagan. Visit one of Burma’s most treasured lacquerware workshops, Manuha Temple, and Shwesandaw Paya.
Day 4: Bagan - Mandalay (B/L)
After breakfast fly to the former royal capital, Mandalay. Check-in to the Sedona Hotel 4-star. Visit the Mahamuni Paya, and explore famous temples and palaces. See Shwe In Bin Kyaung, Kuthodaw Paya, and take a boat ride back to Mandalay.
Day 5: Mandalay (B/L)
Visit the former capitals – Amarapura, Sagaing, and Inwa. Explore the capitals’ many monasteries and temples. See Mahagandayon Monastery, Tupayon Paya and Hsinmyashin Paya.
Day 6: Mandalay - Heho - Inle Lake (B/L)
Fly to Heho, then travel to Inle Lake. Check-in to the Paradise Inle Resort 3-star. Relax and marvel at the beautiful scenery from a private boat cruise. Also visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and the Monastery of Jumping Cats.
Day 7: Inle Lake (B/L/D)
Take a cruise to the hidden Indein Temple complex. See the local craftsmen at a Cheroot Factory and Lotus Weaving Workshop. Enjoy a farewell dinner.
Day 8: Depart Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon (B)
Travel to Heho, then fly to Yangon.
